Residents will have a chance to clean up El Paso County on Saturday and get rid of trash for free.
Tires, electronics, recyclables and household waste will be accepted for free disposal by the El Paso County Public Works Department, officials announced Monday.
Starting from 8 a.m. to noon, or until waste capacity is met, El Paso County residents can dispose of their waste at Gallegos Park, 7351 Bosque Road, and at 14698 Van Lane.
At each location, only 1,500 tires will be accepted. Tires will be limited to five per resident and must be 17 inches or smaller. Tires from retailers will not be accepted. Neither will semitruck tires nor tires with rims.
