A free, community-oriented live music program will be returning to Wiley Park in Galva for the next three years. The Galva Arts Council has been awarded a multi-year Levitt AMP Grant Award of $90,000 in matching funds to present the free outdoor music series through 2025. The Mortimer and Mimi Levitt Foundation turned the $25,000 grant into a three-year matching grant of $30,000 per year. The foundation awarded $90,000 to each of the 18 returning Levitt AMP grantees. A total of $1.62 million in total grants were awarded. The Levitt Foundation is planning to award an additional 10 non-profits $900,000 to bring the music series to their communities. According to John Taylor, President of the Levitt AMP Galva Music Series, "Since 2018, the Levitt AMP Galva Music Series...has inspired community-driven investment in the rural town's local economy, transforming Wiley Park from an underused green space into a dynamic hub complete with a permanent stage." A total of 38 communities since 2015 have been utilizing under-used outdoor public places where all members of the community are welcome to participate and enjoy a diverse lineup of artists, music genres, and cultural programming.

The free Sunday concerts at Wiley Park will feature regional and national acts from country, blues, and rock, to retro pop, folk, and bluegrass. The 2022 lineup kicks off on May 29th with rock/pop group Dawson Hollow and the southern rock Josh Gilbert Band. The concert series will end on August 7th with reggae and hip hop artist Vox Sambou and soul/blues band Josh Hoyer and Soul Colossal. The Levitt AMP Galva Music Series is one part of a larger network of live music events which has made Galva a destination for experiencing family-friendly live music in intimate settings year-round. The Levitt Foundation empowers communities to transform underused public spaces into welcoming destinations where the power of free, live music brings people together and invigorates community life.
