Activision Blizzard has just announced that all temporary and contingent QA workers of its Activision Publishing and Blizzard divisions are being converted to full-time employees — meaning nearly 1,100 temp game testers are getting full-time jobs with benefits.

At least 117 employees staged a walkout demanding that the company make work from home an open, equitable option for employees.

The Game Workers Alliance addressed a letter to CEO Satya Nadella asking for the companys position on the matter
