Vancouver businessman David Sidoo has been released from a Washington State prison where he served a three-month sentence after pleading guilty to participating in criminal conspiracy that sought to help privileged kids with middling grades gain admission to elite U.S. universities.
Sidoo, who pleaded guilty to wire fraud conspiracy charges in a Boston courtroom in July, completed his 90-day stint at the SeaTac Federal Detention Center in Seattle on Thursday.
