Amada, the modern Spanish tapas restaurant from Chef Jose Garces, opens this weekend in Radnor at 555 E. Lancaster Ave. Amada was the first solo concept opened by the James Beard Award-winning chef in Old City in 2005. There's also another location at Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City.

Garces is bringing traditional Spanish cuisine to Delco.

Amada, the modern Spanish tapas restaurant from Chef Jose Garces, will open on the Main Line early next year with a third location in Radnor Township. The first Amada opened in Philadelphia's Old City in 2005, followed by a second location at Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City.

Chef Jose Garces is opening a revamped version of his bistro Garces Trading Company at the Cira Centre in University City in September. The cafe and bakery will feature a marketplace selling seasonal products, as well a wine shop. The restaurant will serve breakfast and lunch.

The Iron Chef has a long line of restaurants in Philly, with the upcoming Garces Eats being his newest one.
