Gentle Bones returns today (December 18) with his fourth studio EP, âBetter With Youâ, led by its title track â a collaboration with Benjamin Kheng.
The release caps off an exciting year for the singer-songwriter, whose real name is Joel Tan. Besides releasing solo tracks âWhy Do Weâ and âdear me,â, 2020 saw him become a fully independent artist and throw himself into a slew of collaborations with fellow Singaporean artists: Gareth Fernandez, Charlie Lim, Joie Tan and, most notably, Tay Kewei, alongside whom he made his Mandopop debut on âä½ éä¸ç¥é?â (âDonât You Know Yet?â).
Now, âBetter With Youâ â his latest project since the three-track EP âMichelleâ in 2018 â has arrived. Its two songs are the hip-hop-inspired âPut My Hands Upâ, and title track that taps long-time friend and collaborator Benjamin Kheng.
