The first team All-Region 4 safety knocked it through the uprights to give the Thunder a 30-28 win over the Royals in opening round of the 6A state tournament.

After playing spoiler to Corner Canyons near record-breaking winning streak, the key for Lone Peak going into senior night against Westlake was not to take the Thunder lightly.

In a game with very little offense, the Syracuse Titans defeated the Westlake Thunder 23-6 to stay undefeated on the season.

Westlake came alive in the second half thanks to gun-slinging quarterback.
