OBITUARY: Erla Crabtree Jadro, 1929-2021 Erla Crabtree Jadro was born May 10, 1929 in Hydesville and passed February 1, 2021 at her home in Fortuna. She was a fourth-generation Humboldt County resident; Erla’s great grandparents, Alonzo and Mary Jane Crabtree, traveled by ox team across the plains in 1848, first settling in Lake County and then moving to the Yager Valley in 1910.
