World War II veteran Donald Scott of Ludlow expects to receive his COVID-19 vaccine soon after weeks of waiting.

LUDLOW On Friday, weeks of waiting and anxiety ended when 97-year-old World War II veteran Donald Scott received his coronavirus vaccination.
“He is doing well. They called and got him in there super quick because of his age,” said son-in-law Gary Provencher.
Until this week, the path to Scott’s vaccination had been, in the eyes of Gary and his wife Kathy Provencher, anything but “super quick.”
