Eddie F’s Racing’s Dream Central broke her maiden and scored her first stakes win for trainer Gary Sciacca in Sunday’s $150,000 Cupecoy’s Joy division of the New York Stallion Stakes Series for eligible state-sired sophomore fillies sprinting seven furlongs on the Widener turf at Belmont Park.

Saturday's live racing program at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y., will have carryovers in both the Pick 6 and Pick 5 wagers.

Well-traveled Exotic West will make her graded-stakes debut at historic Pimlico in Baltimore, Md., in Friday’s Allaire du Pont Distaff.

The annual Virginia Breeder’s Awards program has been scheduled at Great Meadow Friday May 6th — the evening before the Virginia Gold Cup Races — in a return to more of a “normal times” format for the first time since 2019. The event will take place in a trackside tent on Member’s Hill overlooking the deep stretch and finish line areas where steeplechase horses are set to compete the next afternoon. Thursday’s nine-race card at Aqueduct Racetrack will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $45,509 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Sunday.

The Haynesfield is slated as Race 9 on Sunday’s 10-race card. First post is 1:20 p.m. Eastern.

Saratoga Snacks, a multiple New York-bred stakes winner and popular resident of ReRun in East Greenbush, N.Y., was euthanized due to metabolic issues at the age of 13.
