Saskatchewan’s government has appointed five new members to the board of the Saskatchewan Health Authority, the first shakeup at the oversight body since it was founded four years ago.
Arlene Wiks will helm the 10-member board after a term chairing the board of Saskatchewan Government Insurance.

She replaces R.W. Carter, a former accountant and chair of the Regina Qu’Appelle Regional Health Authority, which merged with 11 other health regions to form the SHA in 2017.
