The developer has split its operations into two divisions, commercial and residential, and appointed Simon Gallanders as managing director of the latter.
Gallanders has joined Cole Waterhouse Residential from Real Estate Investment Partnerships, where he spent the last 12 years.
REIP, the firm behind the controversial Warp & Weft scheme in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, is Cole Waterhouse’s sister company.
Both the commercial and residential elements of Cole Waterhouse’s operations are ultimately led by chief executive Damian Flood, executive director Greg Ritchie and chief operating officer Rod Priestley.
There are plans in place to structure the commercial side of the business in a similar way to the residential arm but no managing director has been appointed as of yet, the company said.
