After they met with the Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai on December 4, leaders of the agitating Ladakh groups submitted a draft of their demands to the Union Government on January 22.

The Apex Body of Ladakh has been agitating for the last two years in support of their demand for statehood and the Sixth Schedule.

Amidst agitation of Ladakh groups Union Government removed Lieutenant Governor Radha Krishna Mathur of UT. Ladakh groups have given a "Delhi Chalo" call on February 15.

Bodies of Ladakh have already announced not to meet the high-powered panel constituted by the Centre to look into their demands. Ladakh groups alleged that their demands have been not included in the agenda.

APPSC 2021:Recruitment For 38 Non-Gazetted Posts: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has issued notification for 38 Non-Gazetted posts including Assistant Public Relation Officer, Assistant Statistical Officers, Food Safety Officer and others.
