Dartmouth to host 5 former surgeons general for virtual roundtable on future of health care

C. Everett Koop, the U.S. surgeon general who was instrumental in promoting childhood sex education for AIDS prevention, led anti-smoking campaigns and efforts to improve diet and nutrition, has died. He was 96.

“The Future of Healthcare 2023 – The Surgeons General Roundtable” will be held at Dartmouth Health’s Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) and stream live on YouTube from 9:30-11:00 am.
