HOUSTON A preclinical study led by researchers at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center shows an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting surface protein MT1-MMP can act as a guided missile in eradicating osteosarcoma tumor cells without damaging normal tissues. This technology, using precision therapy targeting of cell-surface proteins through a Bicycle toxin conjugate (BTC), shows encouraging results for the treatment of osteosarcoma.

He was born December 27, 1954, in Fauquier County, to the late Emma Mudd (Scroggins) and Ned Mudd.
Raised in Fauquier and living in Virginia his whole life, he enjoyed many avenues of hobbies. One of his passions was basketball, that lead him to play for Fauquier High Class of â73 and become known for his âHarlem Form.â He went onto drive a freight truck for over 30 years, hauling a multitude of different materials. He visited quarries throughout Virginia and meeting many friends along the way. Always a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan, he loved drag racing, fishing, swimming laps, reading the Sunday paper and coaching/watching youth soccer.
