The Fifteen Companies and one Jacob Aminu Momoh had filed suits in an Abuja Federal High Court seeking an order against the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) to pay for the alleged unexecuted contracts in the amount of ₦3.8billion, plus 21 percent post–judgment fees, and special damages which can go as high as ₦5billion to ₦8billion.

The Presidential Amnesty Programme has said it followed due process in its decision in delisting some beneficiaries from the regular payment voucher of the Presidential Amnesty Programme. Ex-militant leaders and stakeholders from the Niger Delta region had raised the alarm over the delisting of 3,548 beneficiaries from the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP). According to them, this was done in a bid to terminate the programme by the December 31, 2022 deadline.

According to them, this was done in a bid to terminate the programme by the December 31, 2022 deadline. They however urged the Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Major General Barry Tariye Ndiomu (rtd.) to reinstate those affected.
