The Election Commission in Karnataka has declared a poll taken on April 26 at a polling station in Hanur, Chamarajanagar Parlimentary Constituency, void under the Representation of the People Act, 1951. A fresh poll will be held on April 29, from 7 am to 6 pm, following the destruction of Electronic Voting Machines at the Indiganatha village polling station.

โโAccording to official data, in Part no-44 of Mazlishpur, there were 545 voters but 574 votes cast, and in Part no-44 of Khayerpur, 1290 voters were registered but 1292 votes were recorded.
