Karim Khan, chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), met with Nasser Abu Baker, president of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) in Ramallah on 2 December 2023. Abu Baker, who is also vice president of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), briefed Khan about the situation for journalists and media workers in Gaza and the West Bank, and reminded him of the two complaints to the ICC lodged by the IFJ and PJS in April 2022 and in September 2022.

The forum will engage in comprehensive discussions on the role of religious institutions and leaders in countering hatred disseminated through media platforms. Emphasizing the moral responsibility of international media, the discussions will address global events and topics with objectivity and balance.
