“I absolutely love seeing everyone all ages, all experience levels learning and exploring art together. It's the best part of the job. . Parents, kids and grandparents often attend together. We welcome families of all shapes and sizes to participate,” Kjesbu said.
In conjunction with World AIDS Day, the Eureka Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will host their annual vigil Saturday at 6 p.m. starting in Old Town Eureka at Second and H streets and ending at the gazebo. A program will follow at the gazebo for the memorial.
After gathering inspiration from all of the sculptural works on display in the Thonson Gallery, everyone will be creating their own sculptures using a variety of recycled and repurposed materials.
