Natalie Prétat Arnold – Foster
On Friday, March 26, Natalie Prétat Arnold passed away peacefully, rushing only to catch up to her husband of 68 years.
Born in 1926 to George B. and Miriam Blair Prétat, Natalie grew up on the East Side of Providence, attending Hope High School and Colby College in Maine. She married her soul mate, Franklin Arnold, in 1953 and embarked on her journey as an officer’s wife in the Air Force. Their joyride together took them across the American south, producing four children along the way, and overseas to France, Germany, and Panama. Upon leaving military life, she returned to her childhood summer home in Foster and built their own home next door. She embarked on a new career as a loan officer with Citizens Bank, retiring after more than 20 years helping others build futures of their own.
