Stabbed last night on the north side. Poli say the stabbing followed a sp shortly after seven. Katie crowther joins us live with the tragic details. Carole and georgethe 74yearold victim has been identified as herman davis. His daughter tells me the altercation happened here, as herman and his wife were driving home from bible stud pulling into this alley, behind their house near 23rd and capitol. She says some young men were blocking the entrance to the alley. Herman got out of his truck to confront themand some sort of argument ensued. Herman thought he had been punche but when he got back in his truck, and closer to homehe realized he was bleedingand had actually been stabbed. His wife called for help.
