eastbound has opened up a bit. this started, believe it or not around 3 yesterday afternoon. that is 3:00 yesterday afternoon. here we are 5:30 going on 6:00 in the morning, it has been 12-hours plus. we have spoken to people who were stuck in traffic eight hours, 10 hours, longer than that. several people told us they left their car, abandoned their car. this is what we are talking about here. these are 50 vehicles right here abandoned by motorists. the rest of the day is going to mean thawing of the road hopefully and people grabbing their cars. metro atlanta has seen traffic headaches like they haven t seen in a long time. back to you in the studio. not used to that down there. thanks so much we appreciate that. george franco out of waga in atlanta. the time is 15 minutes to the top of the hour. if you plan on skipping the super bowl you could make thousands of dollars by opening your front door. but it comes with a big risk.
