A legend, Indiana Fever General Manager Tamika Catchings is the best player in the franchise’s history, but she is also one of the most decorated players in WNBA history.
Her legendary status extends beyond the court as well. As part of their State of Indiana’s 30th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Indiana Holiday Celebration, the Indiana Civil Rights Commission (ICRC) named her the recipient of the 2021 Freedom Award.
An annual celebration, the ICRC honors four Hoosiers who have worked diligently to improve their communities in a manner that exemplifies the vision of Dr. Martin Luther King.
