AAA spokesperson Garrett Townsend tells WJCL that despite the rise at pump they are anticipating millions to hit the road this summer beginning memorial day weekend.
AAA is reporting nearly a $.50 increase in gas prices in one week in South Carolina and Georgia. Both states are nearing record high prices, and drivers are having to pay the price for the rising cost.
