In his latest musical political satire, Randy Rainbow takes on antigay conspiracy theorist and U.S. representative from Georgia Marjorie Taylor Greene to the tune of Barbra Streisand’s multi-award-winning smash “Evergreen” from the 1976 version of
A Star Is Born.
“What’s happening in D.C.? It beats the shit out of me,” Rainbow begins. “Nuts, filling the GOP. One such nut Marjorie Taylor Greene seldom has a clue. … While these schmoes happily write her checks, she blames Muslims and satanic pizza sex.”

At a public town hall with United States Representative from Georgia Marjorie Taylor Greene, a reporter representing WRCB-TV was threatened with arrest. For asking a question.
Greene refused to answer the question. Worse yet, a deputy threatened to arrest the reporter for trespassing. The reporter was then “escorted” out. At a public town hall.
Two Democratic congresswomen who tested positive this week for COVID-19 have each identified last Wednesday’s Capitol siege as the likely point of exposure. Democratic Rep. Pramila Jayapal of Washington announced her positive test early Tuesday morning, shortly after New Jersey Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman confirmed Monday she had contracted the virus. Both congresswomen said they believed they contracted the virus while being forced to shelter in place with maskless Republican lawmakers as pro-Trump supporters stormed the Capitol. During the rioting, as many as 150 members were rushed to a secure location where many Republicans simply refused to wear a mask. Some lawmakers were huddled in the large safe room for hours as the incursion played out.
