More than 150 law clerks who served in her chambers over the decades turning out to be her honorary pallbearers. Its just been a very emotional thing to see over these last couple of days. Today Ruth Bader Ginsburg received an honor that no woman has ever received before. Today she laid in state at the United States capitol. As the New York Times put it in a headline today, quote, Justice Ginsburg breaks one final barrier. She is the first woman to ever lie in state at the u. S. Capitol. Shes also the first jewish person to ever lie in state at the u.
