Madison Square Garden is celebrating the return of live music to New York City with a new mini-documentary,
The Day the Music Came Back, surrounding the
Foo Fighters historic performance at the venue last month.
The show, billed as Rock Returns to The Garden, took place 466 days since the last concert at the venue. In the film, The Garden highlights several long-serving employees who were just as excited about getting back to work as the 15,000 fans in attendance were to see a show again. During this time with the pandemic and everything happening, they pretty much humbled everyone to make them be more grateful for what you have, said foreman Michael M. Davis. Because you ve been out so long, you just appreciate every moment. So to have Foo Fighters right now, and you ve got the fans back, it s unbelievable.
