From supporting local businesses marketing efforts to honoring veterans, Main Street Wellington has been bringing people in since the local Chamber disbanded several years ago.

With the cooler weather and changing of leaves also comes the favorite holiday of many, Halloween, and with that comes haunted attractions, something eastern North Carolina is no stranger to.

Did you know that the screaming coming out of The Ghost Walk for Charity was palpable last Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings as the first wave of victims made it through the scary set up.

I have attended the Ghost Walk in past years, my girls even at younger ages would go through the scare hours and my son preferred the non-scare, so naturally- I sent the girls off on their own because I needed to be with my son.

Just in time for Halloween, enjoy some haunted history with these spook-tacular ghost tours from all over America that are filled with paranormal experiences and other startling sights.

Haunted mazes, trick-or-treating events and costume contests are among the activities residents can enjoy.

Historic cemeteries seem to not frighten us away but instead beckon us to come and visit, and learn about those who went before us!
