The Gide team, led by Błażej Czwarnok (partner in the Real Estate practice), supported Mindspace during the negotiation of the lease agreement for the premises with Karimpol Polska.
Lawyers from Gide Warsaw supported KI Chemistry in the process of obtaining financing for the acquisition of shares in Ciech S.A. through a voluntary tender offer for the sale of up to approximately 48.66% of the shares in Ciech S.A. Gide’s lawyers advised the client during the entire process of obtaining financing for the acquisition of shares, including a loan agreement concluded with a bank operating in Poland.

The team at Gide Warsaw advised KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. on the sale of a 45% stake in the Sierra Gorda joint venture by the other shareholder, the Japanese corporation Sumitomo, to the Australian mining group South32. The work specifically involved the scope of the client’s overall rights under the joint venture structure and industrial projects implemented by the joint venture. Sierra Gorda S.C.M. owns one of the world’s largest copper and molybdenum mines.
A team of lawyers from Gide Warsaw advised KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. on negotiating a contract for work on implementing SMR-class small modular reactor technology with the American supplier NuScale Power. Modern SMR reactor technology is being successfully developed by NuScale Power, which has one of the most advanced designs of its kind. KGHM is implementing this technology in response to the EU Fit-for-55 package and as part of the strategy to reduce emissions within the KGHM Group.
