And also the greater legal system and how it handles the case for and the naacp in cedar rapid city agrees. Weve been trying to keep this thing peaceful and i think that would go a local way towards people seeing that justice will be served. The District Attorney and the cedar Rapid City Police department have to work closely or not charge the folks and put them in the legal system. The other side of this is the District Attorney is an elected position. Hes on the ballot. And the last time he was reelected was 2014. Voter accountability is another aspect but he does not think that overrules the fact that they there could be some conflict of interest. They tend to be elected by the voters, and they are responsible to the voters. And they have to be concerned, but the reality is they have to work with the local police.
