A man survived for six days on only rainwater while pinned tightly inside his crashed pickup truck beneath a highway bridge in Indiana, police said.

The driver had not been reported missing and was only rescued after two men looking for a fishing spot happened to notice his crashed vehicle, police say.

The 27-year-old man said he survived under the wreckage drinking rainwater.
