A FORMER Telegraph stalwart who worked for the newspaper for over 30 years has passed away at the age of 83.

Greenock grandad Gordon McNeil passed away on January 18, aged just 59. Gordon began to feel unwell just a week earlier and thought he was coming down with a cold. Just a week later, he passed away in his bed at home. Gordon, who worked for Inverclyde Council for almost 40 years, was a well-known face in Greenock. His loved ones have been left devastated by his death. Daughter Stacy, 36, says her dad was a proper family man who worked hard all his life and never wanted a lot of fuss...
