All day thursday it treks through north florida and then entering into back into the Atlantic Ocean and heads away from us. So you know its the most active time for hurricanes and thats whats happening at this point. This is the latest information from the hurricane center. As of 5 00, just a minute or so ago, expected to drift into the central gulf of mexico and gain strength. By tomorrow morning, it could be a Tropical Storm. Unfortunately, even though its heading this way for the next 48 hour, its way for the next 48 make a turn towards the northeast. Thursday morning, its just off the big bend coastline, anywhere from panama city to tampa. Between thursday morning and friday morning when it heads off to jacksonville, we could see impacts anywhere along the big bend of florida right down to fort myers as far as heavy rain, wind gusts, excuse me, high surf advisories, things like that, beach erosion, rip currents.
