Couple charged with drug possession
STORY — An Anderson couple was arrested on felony drug charges after a conservation officer saw them lighting fields with their headlights on Dec. 10.
Indiana Conservation Officer Kaley McDonald was patrolling in Story when she saw a truck exiting a field off the road. She followed the truck and saw it pull into another field. McDonald turned around and stopped the vehicle.
The driver was Robbie Dugger, 52, and passenger was Brittney Dugger, 48. McDonald reported noticing the smell of alcohol coming from the vehicle and Brittany behaving nervously. McDonald asked why he was lighting up the fields and Robbie Dugger said he was looking at deer.
