Gambian firm lodges complaint against Turkish citizen over alleged trade fraud
The National Food Security Processing and Marketing Corp. of Gambia has accused Turkish national Emin Çakmak of fraud in a sugar importation deal valued at $4.5 million. They have sought Türkiye’s Ministry of Trade’s intervention to address the unpaid down payment and prevent damage to Türkiye’s international reputation.
