Residents in Fairfield and Hartford counties are feeling lucky after cashing in CT Lottery tickets with cash prizes reaching six digits.
Over the weekend, a Bridgeport resident cashed in a $177,777 winning 7s On Fire ticket that was sold at the Hood Market & Deli in Bridgeport, and Hartford County resident Lidia Fornal, of Enfield, won $100,000 on $100,000 CASHWORD 10 that was sold at Sam s Food Store in Enfield.
According to CT Lottery, “when a winning scratch ticket is validated through a Lottery Retailer s terminal, the remaining number of unclaimed prizes for that prize level is automatically updated reflecting one less prize. Until the individual or group presents their winning ticket for claim at CT Lottery Headquarters, the identity of a winner is unknown.”
