International freight company FedEx is transporting more than 25,000 oxygen concentrators and converters to India via the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum and other multinational companies. FedEx delivered an initial consignment comprising 1,000 critical oxygen concentrators to New Delhi on April 30.

BENGALURU: Help continues to pour in for India s Covid fight. Infosys has doubled its commitment to Rs 200 crore for Covid-related efforts. “Some of this will be directed to help set up and expand the capacity of Covid care hospital beds, augment the supply of oxygen concentrators and ventilators, as well as provide ration and support funds to migrant labourers and families impacted by the lockdowns,” wrote Infosys CEO Salil Parekh in an email to employees. Last year, Infosys had committed Rs 100 crore, including contribution towards the PM Cares fund.
