Millennial multimillionaire William Wu, 28, goes on $50 million property-buying spree in Sydney's eastern suburbs

Lucy Macken Save Share William Wenhao Wu is only 28 but that hasn’t stopped him from snapping up more than $50 million of real estate in the past 12 months, all of it in Sydney’s well-heeled eastern suburbs. Probably helping to fund it all is his mother, Jing Wang, who heads up Chinese-backed property developer Mayrin Group, of which Mr Wu has been a director since he entered the workforce six years ago. The Bellevue Hill residence William Wu bought a year ago for $11.08 million is set to return to the market after a lavish renovation.   William Wu.  And if his mother’s property acquisitions are added to the family portfolio, the total real estate spend of recent years is almost $100 million.

Pub billionaire and Rich Lister Chris Morris sells Milsons Point penthouse in Sydney for a loss

Share In the middle of one of the most jaw-dropping property booms in decades, it is refreshing to hear that not every seller is making a motza from their real estate. Take billionaire pub magnate Chris Morris and his wife, Sharron Sills, who have copped a loss on their Milsons Point penthouse this week. The couple paid $8 million for their crash pad in the Latitude building at the peak of the local apartment market in 2017, making them immediate neighbours to the super-spread next door owned by Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. Chris Morris owns hospitality and tourism operator Colonial Leisure Group.
