They are still trying to get people out, busing people out of the Evacuation Zone this as the death toll unfortunately continues to climb. 55 people at least confirmed dead at this time. Several fires burning on the island of maui since tuesday. None of them yet fully contained by officials here. Yet unknown how they started. Most destructive on mauis west side ripped through the community of lahaina driven by fierce winds High Pressure to the north and Hurricane Dora as it passed hundreds of miles to the south.
