With each new addition to the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate official roster comes a collection of other content along with it to continually customize your Mii Fighter characters. Pyra and Mythra are on their way to the Smash Ultimate roster from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, so of course that means we’re getting new costumes as well. This time around, the new Mii Fighter costumes will be coming from Monster Hunter and Ghosts ‘n Goblins, and they launch today.
The new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Mii Fighter costumes were revealed alongside details of Mythra and Pyra in a new Mr. Sakurai Presents livestream on March 4, 2021. Pyra and Mythra were given a launch date of later the same day, and with them come the new costumes. With Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection having just released and Monster Hunter Rise right around the corner, these two franchises were the centerpiece of the new cosmetics. The Rathalos Equipment and Hunter’s Equipment return from
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and
Wii U. These will deck out your Mii Swordfighter with the perfect look to take on Rathalos and other beastly fighters among
Ultimate‘s roster. With these, a new Felyne hat is available for all Mii Fighters. Retro enthusiasts can also take on the look of Arthur,
Ghosts n’ Goblins‘ renowned hero with a knack for wardrobe malfunctions.
Now the only old third-party Mii Fighter costume yet to return is Lloyd Irving from
Monster Hunter Mii Fighter DLC to Appear in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
A handful of Mii Fighter costumes were revealed during the Mythra and Pyra
Super Smash Bros. Ultimatebroadcast. Players will be able to equip their Mii Fighter characters in armor from the Monster Hunter series. Other costumes include a Felyne hat and Arthur’s armor from
Ghost ‘n Goblins. These Mii Fighter costumes are immediately available for $5.99 in a bundle or $0.75 individually.
