number one, that's why always a trained and armed. you know, in the state of indiana, i was literally, i had been elected governor, but i was not sworn in yet when sandy hook happened. and we huddled with state legislative leaders, immediately provided funding or recall resource officers, armed guards who are now in every school in the state of indiana. and by god's grace, we haven't seen an incident like this in our state. but they've got to be trained. i mean, this is the reason -- if it takes federal funding, then, dana, let's do it. i understand state resources. i balanced for moderates when i was governor of the state of indiana. i know there are limited resources at the state level. so that's why we just have to end the conversation in washington, d.c. ought to just step up and make sure there's funding available. not just have an armed guard, but a trained guard who can be a part of the school community. the fact is, having somebody
