Goessel city council met on Jan. 8 and announced the winners of the city's Christmas light contest. Mary and Larry Lindeman won first place. They received a $100 gift card for Goessel Grocery and Deli. CJ and Ashly Padget placed second. They received a $50 gift card for the grocery store.
