WORCESTER – Becker College Police Chief David Bousquet was arrested Tuesday night in Auburn after allegedly crashing into another car while drunk and trying to run away.
Police say Bousquet, 55, of Sutton, struck another car at an intersection and drove away before being found a short time later walking away from his damaged truck.
“He kept repeating that he had messed up, also apologizing,” Auburn Sgt. Daniel Lamoreaux wrote in a statement of facts filed in Central District Court.
According to the report, Auburn police received a call at 9:04 p.m. that a truck had struck a Toyota sedan on Millbury Street and driven away.
