Rutterâs Raises Hourly Starting Wage to $15
This is the third time the company has increased wages since April 2020.

YORK, Pa. Rutter’s announced a third increase to its starting wage in the past 15 months. All field employees will receive $15 per hour.
“At Rutter’s, we recognize the difference our people make,” said Suzanne Cramer, vice president of human resources. “We’re pleased to increase our wages yet again for our hardworking field employees. These are the front-line workers that continue to keep us at the top of the industry.”
The Central Pennsylvania chain continues to commit to investing in its people, increasing field wages by more than $15 million annually a 36% increase, since April 2020.
Rutterâs Raises Starting Wage to $14 an Hour
The Pennsylvania chain has increased wages 33% since 2019.

YORK, Pa. Rutter’s is raising the hourly wage for all field employees to $14 effective yesterday, the company announced.
The 79-store has committed more than $5 million in additional annual wages and a total of $12 million since the end of 2020. All Rutter’s team members will see a wage increase, with fulltime team members earning nearly $30,000 per year. Rutter’s store managers can earn as much as $110,000 per year, and restaurant managers as much as $99,000 per year, with bonus. Rutter’s also offers an extensive benefits package, including scholarship opportunities for employees and their children.
