Iowa troops begin a new mission at the Texas-Mexico border Monday.

A Florida man faces multiple drug-related charges after law enforcement in Iowa said they found a pound of methamphetamine in his vehicle.

"I really always felt a sense that I wanted to learn to be in the sky. So when I found out that I could have that opportunity via my training in the Army and getting into pilot training, I continued to pursue it," said Morrison.

"For it to just be abandoned and go to waste I think was hard on people," said Knoxville's economic development director.

“For many of you have lost a brother, and that becomes so painful. There's a lot of pain in this room,” said Pastor Nate Liedtke, the Norwalk Police Chaplain.

"There's unbelievable tradition here," DeVries said in a news conference in Morgantown.

Police say the driver had felony warrants.

The Johnston-Grimes Metropolitan Fire District responded to the scene about 10 a.m. Thursday. At least five different municipalities also helped fight the fire.

"Our sharing agreements with the Pekin Community School District will be coming to an end," said the school board president of a neighboring district.

This will be the second year in a row Reynolds is deploying troops to Texas.
