A majority of Californians, including Dems, believe Democrat Dianne Feinstein is no longer fit to serve in the Senate, according to a poll released Thursday.

Two-thirds of registered California voters say Sen. Dianne Feinstein is no longer fit for office, but only 42% say the 89-year-old should resign.

The poll showed GOP candidate Eric Early slightly leading over Democratic Rep. Katie Porter, gaining 18 percent of likely primary voters support.

52% of polled Democrats said Feinstein should resign to allow Gov. Newsom to appoint a replacement.
