Social media great place for financial education

Social media is an excellent place to do financial education but you must know what you are doing, experts say.
They spoke at a PIMFA webinar called ‘The social media dilemma: how to grow your business and still stay FCA compliant’.
One of them, Hearsay Systems VP of compliance strategy Iain Duke-Richardet, said social media has a role to play in financial education.
It could address topics such as retirement planning, home buying or how to manage your finances.
Quilter Financial Planning compliance officer Claire Khan also observed a demand for financial education on Instagram.
