Boss Paul Jewell will be back at the scene of his first game in charge of the Blues on Saturday when his team take on Millwall at the Den. The Town manager says his side has made progress in some areas in the nine months since then, but not enough in others.
Ten-man Town battled to a 3-2 victory after going two goals down within 13 minutes against newly-promoted Plymouth. Sub Shefki Kuqi netted twice late on after Fabian Wilnis had been shown a straight red card in the first half, after Jason De Vos had pulled a goal back for the Blues.
Midfielder Jay Tabb and left-back Aaron Cresswell are both fit enough to line-up for the Blues in Saturday’s first home game of the season against Millwall. Tabb hurt his shoulder at Stevenage on Tuesday, while Cresswell has missed Town s two games so far due to a thigh injury.
