The Grand Prairie Farmers Market will be located at the Stuttgart Chamber Pavilion.
The Grand Prairie Farmers Market will kick off on Saturday, May 15, at 7 a.m. The market will be located downtown at the Stuttgart Chamber Pavilion. Market organizer Stephanie Davis said vendors are still being accepted to participate in the market. For $25 for the entire season, vendors can sell products grown or produced within Arkansas.
“So far, we have seven vendors. We have two vegetable vendors. We have vendors bringing beef, blankets, soaps, lotions, scrubs, baked goods, summer and holiday door hangers, wax melts, and candles. Later in the season, we will also have a flower farmer,” Davis said.
Rid Litter Day is tomorrow
The Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce is inviting businesses and community members to participate in Rid Litter Day on Tuesday, April 27. The Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Keep America Beautiful and Keep Arkansas Beautiful for the Great American Cleanup event. CEO and Executive Director of the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce Bethany Hildebrand said anyone in Stuttgart can participate.
“We will be out taking pictures from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m., but we encourage anyone to participate at any time of day that works for you. You can decide what area you would like to clean up. We have businesses who just sign up to pick up around their area. We have civic organizations that will sign up to clean up the main streets. We want to encourage everyone to get out and help us clean up Stuttgart,” Hildebrand said.
