After a week of flooding and heavy rain throughout the state, another storm brought several inches of rain to the small community of Plainfield, leaving massive ditches on the road shoulder and culverts fully exposed.

The Plainfield Selectboard had nothing but praise for the Plainfield 40th Anniversary Parade at their Wednesday meeting at the Philp Read Memorial Library. As Community Resource Director Stephanie Schell stated,
